Maths Homework    Term 1 week 3
Use the virtual dice link on the right hand side of our Blog's home page to prastise your doubles and halves. E.g. if you roll a 6 you would say double 6 is 12, half of 6 is 3. If you already know your doubles with numbers up to 12 and halves of numbers up to 24 you could try putting a zero on the end of the number you roll. E.g. if you roll a 6 you would make it 60 and say double 60 is 120, half of 60 is 30.

Our focus in maths for the first few weeks of term 1 is statistics. We are learning how to create and display data in graphs and make statements about what the graph shows. This week we created a pictograph about how we came to school on the first three days of term 1.
After we had to describe what we could see and suggest a possible reason as to why it was like that. We tried to use words like: more, less, most, least, greater, fewer, same as.
